To Ye of Little Faith in Natural Remedies

Many people are “fair weather” herbal enthusiasts.

They go for the natural cure du jour when they have a cold or flu — maybe even for allergies in season.

But, when they come face to face with the fruits of their lifestyle choices and are diagnosed with cancer or HIV, they make a bee-line to the nearest pharmacy with prescriptions for toxic, harmful drugs, and get in line for radiation treatments, etc.

Jestina Kuziva Satambra, an HIV-positive resident of Zimbabwe, went in the opposite direction. Being poor, and unable to afford the outrageously expensive retro-viral drugs, she began pioneering the use of traditional herbs to suppress the HIV virus and strengthen her natural defenses over 20 years ago starting back in 1996.

Her 20-year results are:

  • She was pregnant when she learned about being HIV positive. She believes that the herbal treatments prevented the HIV from transferring to her child. He is now 19 years of age, and is HIV-negative.
  • The herbs changed her life from having high blood pressure, depression, swollen legs, severe back ache, thrush, sore throat, ring worms, terrible headaches and certain impending death to one of seemingly normal health.
  • Under the council of medical professionals, she has not mixed her treatments with any drugs. Local health experts advise that they should not be mixed. Choose one and stay true to that choice.

One barrier that Jestina had to overcome in the beginning was her belief that herbal remedies were associated with witchcraft. Fortunately, an elder from the Roman Catholic Church advised her that was not so, and encouraged her to begin taking them.

Jestina is now an herbal mentor for others who have tested HIV positive, passing on her proven success with remaining true to natural remedies to others in need.

Takeaway:

Compare Jestina’s experience with those of people who have chosen toxic pharmaceuticals before you panic and and run off to allopathic treatments. Nature provides the solution, if we will but trust, study and learn.
